mondo 2000

while searching (unsucessfully) for a copy of an interview called "Terence and the Coming Eschaton: Terence McKenna meets Xandor Korzybski," from a long dead early 90s zine called Mondo 2000 n.10 i decided to keep digging and see what do? with this small and obscure publication of cultural americana. that was a mouthful

Mondo 2000 was a glossy cyberculture magazine published in California during the 1980s and 1990s. It covered cyberpunk topics such as virtual reality and smart drugs. It was a more anarchic and subversive prototype for the later-founded Wired magazine.

oh and while we are on the topic of the forgotten and obscure: i'd like to dedicate this post to the memory of the late great terance mckenna (2000) and his theory on novelty and eschaton. the time-wave is dead, long live the time-wave!
